How Great Thou Art - Glenn Kohr
BackIn May, 2007, Glenn Kohr, an 80-year-old retired accountant and active musician in Salina, Kansas, wanted an audio recording of his performance of the hymn "How Great Thou Art" at St. John's Lutheran Church. The arrangement for organ, piano, and trumpet is by a friend whom Glenn wanted to surprise with the recording. The production ultimately turned into a produced video. The audio was later "sweetened" for better quality. This required the musicians to recreate their original performance as closely as possible. The video also features many of the beautiful stained glass windows in the nearly century-old ELCA-affiliated church. Video and audio production by Chris Abercrombie.
