It features time-honored titles recorded by the true titans of jazz, originally released on Riverside and Milestone Records. All reissues, with 24-bit remastering from the master tapes, include original liner notes and Keepnews' voluminous new commentaries; when available, the original tracks are supplemented by bonus cuts from the sessions.
