The fact that his style is unrecognized,undocumented,and doubted authentic in the cma community. Mantis is not part of the five shaolin animal system and as a scholar of chinese martial arts i say this with confidence.I don't care if he won or lost that isn't kung fu and after seeing his instructors videos i can tell it's not kung fu but kempo. just because someone waves their arms in patterns you don't know doesn't make it kung fu.i'll show you how it really looks like if you want.

why dont you think he doesnt know kung fu? cause he lost? , anyone can lose in a fight, he can rule and do badass moves but when you really fight you get scarred so yes he knows kung fu just he cant fight.

Royce was never the type to wanna seriously hurt someone through gnp. He just wanted to get a person to move after softening them up. Notice how he immediately stops when the person moves
